Jennie joined the Brain Balance family in December 2017 as Center Director. As a former teacher and a parent of three kids, she has knowledge and understands the growth and development of children as well as trials and tribulations parents face daily. She received her B.A. as well as her M.A. from Southwest Texas State University. During her tenure at SWT she played 5 years of collegiate softball on an athletic scholarship. Having discipline, desire, passion and perseverance she grained a love of life she wanted to share with people. With a particular love of history she began the journey to becoming a middle school Social Studies teacher. After leaving the field to be at home with her kiddos she began to miss the fast-paced daily grind of the workforce. She began working part-time for a local San Antonio business and grew her love of people even further into management full time. Her abilities to build rapport, be transparent, lead and motivate others to give their best daily has become an asset she looks forward to sharing with her Brain Balance family. In the early morning hours you can catch her rockin’ a WOD at Crossfit, playing softball in her spare time, loving on her kids and enjoying life.
