About the Brain Balance Program in Westchase

The Brain Balance Program is made up of physical and sensorimotor exercises, academic skills training and healthy nutrition. It is tailored to the needs of your child, and delivered in a uniquely systematic approach that you'll be hard pressed to find anywhere else.

Program Format

Your child can work onsite at your local Brain Balance Center with our coaches three times per week. We also offer an at-home virtual option that is parent-led. You'll have weekly video check-ins from your program coach.

Do you accept insurance?

Do you accept insurance?

Brain Balance is not a medical program and does not provide a diagnosis, nor is it covered by health insurance. Our staff are all trained and certified through Brain Balance, and can receive additional certifications as Board Certified Cognitive Coaches, and Behavior Management through outside accrediting agencies.

Is there any research behind the program?

Is there any research behind the program?

Harvard University’s McLean Hospital completed a study which demonstrated that the Brain Balance Program is as effective as stimulant medication in alleviating ADHD symptoms among children. Cambridge Brain Sciences also collaborated with Brain Balance on a study the results of which show that children who completed three months of the Brain Balance Program displayed significant improvements in cognition, particularly in areas of memory, reasoning, verbal ability, and concentration. Research published in the Journal of Mental Health and Clinical Psychology found that the Brain Balance Program is an effective, non-drug option for improving mental well-being, specifically in areas including overall happiness, emotional functioning, anxiety and social engagement.

Autumn has always had a passion for helping others. She studied sociology at the University of Florida and has a background in crisis intervention and foster care. Autumn continues to dedicate herself to our kiddos and families, helping them reach their true potential. Her compassionate heart is truly evident in her work. Autumn Regularly receives training through our Executive team on holistic methods to connect the brain and body. In her free time, Autumn enjoys reading, spending time with her nieces, and traveling the world to experience new cultures.

Courtney graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, as well as an undergraduate certificate in Interdepartmental Development Disabilities. Growing up in Tampa, Courtney has spent the majority of her summers working at a local summer camp and has also spent years working in elementary after school care. She is passionate about working with children and nothing is more rewarding to her than seeing their success. Courtney could not be more excited to be a part of the Brain Balance of Westchase team and is eager to help children reach their true potential.

Family Support Coordinator

After having worked in the School System for grades K-8th as the English Speakers of other Languages Coordinator (ESOL), I increased my love and compassion in working with children with challenges. When you help the child, you help the family. And that is the most rewarding aspect of my job here at Brain Balance as the Family Support Coordinator. My own family consists of my husband of 38 years, my two adult children and my beautiful Belgian Shepherd, who all make my day a little brighter! I love gardening, nature walks, and the almighty God whose love and mercy is limitless.

Mason graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Stevenson University while being a member of the football team for 5 years. While attending college, Mason helped coordinate and run training camps for younger athletes looking to develop and grow within the sport. This is where his passion for youth development started and what ultimately led him to Brain Balance. Mason loves to create an energetic environment catered to helping children and students reach their maximum potential. To him, watching a student grow into a successful young adult is the most rewarding process. He is extremely excited to be a part of the Brain Balance family and hopes to continue to help children thrive!
