He was not gaining any ground with this intensive intervention at the school. We went through third grade. He didn't pass the reading test that the school administered.

The reading specialist insisted on testing Drake. They just knew he had some sort of major problem.  Everything came back with no problems. No learning disability. Anything like that. It wasn’t anything we could pinpoint why he wasn’t reading. We went through third grade. He didn’t pass the reading test that the school administered. He had an intense intervention with all the best intentions, he had no confidence. I was losing him. He started to be sick all the time. He started to have tummy upset stuff. All those things I’d never seen from him before.

That’s where I called Brain Balance. I went in, and I talked to the center. Knowing what I know about the brain and the development of it, everything they were saying made complete sense to me as far as what Drake was missing.

We’re in fifth grade now. We’re a year away from it. We’ve just made amazing strides. He’s still not on grade level, but he is testing at a fourth-grade level. We’re a year behind instead of three years behind. His confidence is back up. He thinks he can. He knows he can.

Brain Balance students progress an average of 2.6 levels in 3 months for sensory motor exercises. On average, customers surveyed rated their satisfaction at 8.5 on a 10 point scale.
