Our Team

Ann Cahill

Ann Cahill

Owner and Executive Director

Ann and her husband, Jim, moved to Kansas City with their 3 children in 2007. She is a St. Louis native who received her B.S. in Business Administration-Marketing and MBA from St. Louis University. Ann also earned an M.S. in Occupational Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis and served as a pediatric occupational therapist for over 20 years. During her time as an occupational therapist at St. Louis Children’s Hospital and in private practice, Ann specialized in reflex repatterning, core strengthening, and sensory integration.

Ann will assist your family by:

  • Conducting initial intake and reviewing assessment results with families;
  • Building and enhancing community relationships to expand the resources available to families;
  • Providing support in coaching and the assessment process.
Rebecca Bolich

Rebecca Bolich

Program Director

Rebecca’s calling is to help children overcome their unique challenges and see them reach their full potential. Rebecca graduated from the University of Kansas with a B. S. in Health & Physical Education. She has been working with children who struggle with special needs for the past 12 years. Rebecca has a passion for a whole-body approach to healing including exercise and nutrition. She has worked at Brain Balance for nine years in varying roles. In her free time, Rebecca enjoys being a certified fitness instructor and a mother to her 18-year-old son.

Rebecca will assist your family by:

  • Providing ongoing support through enrollment and monthly meetings;
  • Developing an individualized program for each student;
  • Visiting schools on students’ behalf to meet with teachers, counselors, and other professionals.
Brittney Bishop

Brittney Bishop

Training Director and Balance 360 Ambassador

Brittney comes to our center from Highlandville, MO. She graduated Cum Laude from Cornell College in Mount Vernon, IA, with a B.A. in Kinesiology and earned her M.A. in Developmental Psychology from Liberty University. Brittney’s experience as a collegiate volleyball player has prepared her for helping students maintain motivation and strive for success.

Brittney will assist your family by:

  • Overseeing the training and ongoing development of team members;
  • Providing support in coaching and the assessment process;
  • Promoting the Balance 360 nutrition program by providing families with the resources and information necessary to be confident and successful.
Sarah Medley

Sarah Medley

Assistant Director

Sarah graduated from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO, with a B.S. in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology. Her previous experience as an assistant at Midwest Neurology and Chiropractic Center gives her unique insight into the science behind the Brain Balance program. Sarah’s wit and positive demeanor create an environment in which students can actively engage in achieving success.

Sarah will assist your family by:

  • Navigating financial options and establishing payment plans;
  • Scheduling student and parent appointments;
  • Managing the student incentive program.
Amber Walters

Amber Walters

Director of Community Engagement

Amber graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. She especially loves working at our center because it allows her to use her background while advocating for students who are struggling. As one of her children is going through the Brain Balance program, Amber understands a parent’s perspective of the challenges and triumphs that our families experience on their Brain Balance journey.

Amber will assist your family by:

  • Scheduling presentations at local schools, community centers, churches, and similar establishments to promote awareness of the Brain Balance program;
  • Establishing relationships with local educators and medical professionals;
  • Promoting Brain Balance within the community.
Allison Ainslie

Allison Ainslie

Lead Coach

Allison is a native Virginian who received a B.S. in Health Sciences from James Madison University. Her freshman year of college, Allison participated in a program through the National Outdoor Leadership School in which she spent 90 days hiking and wilderness camping through Utah and Wyoming; this experience equipped Allison with problem-solving skills that have translated into success as a Brain Balance coach.

Allison will assist your family by:

  • Facilitating students’ initial and post-program assessments;
  • Working closely with the Program and Training Directors to maintain the integrity of all Brain Balance protocols and equipment;
  • Evaluating coaches’ performance and providing feedback on an ongoing basis.
Samantha Cline

Samantha Cline

Coach

As a native of the Kansas City area, Samantha received a B.S. in Human Development and Family Services from Kansas State University and an A.S. as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant from Penn Valley. She also has over 6 years of experience working with children who have special needs and their families. Sam’s educational background and work experience make her an especially good fit for serving our students.

Samantha will assist your family by:

  • Coaching and evaluating students through various sensory, motor, and academic exercises;
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive data for each student;
  • Assisting with students’ initial and post-program assessments.
Charlotte Collins

Charlotte Collins

Coach

Charlotte comes to us from Delaware. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Allied Health from Wilmington University and an A.S. as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant from Delaware Technical Community College. She has lived in the Kansas City area since 2015 and brings to our team a wealth of experience working in various occupational therapy settings.

Charlotte will assist your family by:

  • Coaching and evaluating students through various sensory, motor, and academic exercises;
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive data for each student;
  • Motivating and encouraging students throughout each academic session.
Amber Pei

Amber Pei

Coach

Amber is native to the Kansas City area and currently lives in Paola with her husband and son. She received her A.S. as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from Neosho County Community College, where she graduated with Sigma Alpha honor. In addition to her educational background, Amber spent 4 years as a youth dance and tumbling instructor. Amber’s experience and willingness to learn to make her an invaluable member of our team.

  • Coaching and evaluating students through various sensory, motor, and academic exercises;
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive data for each student;
  • Motivating and encouraging students throughout each academic session.
