Melanie Furstenberg

Center Director/Owner

Melanie Furstenberg holds a Master’s in Communications and has spent nearly 20 years in the medical diagnostics industry launching innovative technology to address some of the most critical healthcare crises that patients face.

When Melanie was searching for solutions to improve her own son’s behavior, attention and academic issues, her research led her to the Brain Balance Program. She began working with Brain Balance Centers of Atlanta and was amazed with the improvements her son attained in a relatively short amount of time. After years of different therapies and methods, Brain Balance was the “Game Changer” that her family was seeking. Melanie has been involved with the Brain Balance program for the past 8 years. Because of this experience, she is excited to be Center Director for Brain Balance of Omaha and help children & families in our community who are desperately seeking answers for their own situations.

Melanie is also a Member of the Research & Outcomes Team for Brain Balance Corporate, which identifies potential utilization for the significant amount of data that the 100+ Brain Balance Centers gather across the U.S.

Julie’s husband retired from the Air Force while stationed at Offutt Air Force Base.  They have lived all over the United States from Georgia to California. However, In their 10 years of living in Nebraska, they have grown to love the state and the friendly people and have since decided to stay here to raise their two sons.

Julie was drawn to Brain Balance while seeking help for her son, who has Asperger’s Syndrome.  She began working as a Program Coach in the Center and was amazed at the progress she saw in both her Son and the Students, as well as the positive impact it had on their families.  She is excited to continue in her role as Program Director, where she she can make a significant difference in her Students’ futures.
