Our Team

Nova Wheeler
Center/Program Director
In August 2022, Nova joined Brain Balance as Assistant Director and later became Center Director in April 2023. With 25 years of experience as a paralegal specializing in domestic and juvenile cases, Nova also volunteered on the Foster Care Review Board. As a mother of two sons, a daughter, and two stepsons, her personal experience with two of own children's ADHD diagnosis fueled her passion for helping children. Nova volunteered in schools, providing additional support, and held various positions in the PTO and Booster Clubs. Now at Brain Balance, she finds fulfillment in utilizing her skills and compassion to assist children in overcoming challenges and reaching their full potential. Her transition from the legal field to child development showcases her unwavering dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of children and families. Nova will be providing support during and after programming, conducting school visits, and meeting with families monthly to discuss student progress to ensure goals are met.
