Beth Snow
Co-Owner and Executive Director
Beth’s passion for supporting neurodiverse individuals and her background in education led her to create Breathe Learn Connect Services, LLC, where she focuses on helping differently-abled individuals strengthen their Executive Functioning skills. Her holistic approach combines education with yoga, mindfulness, and meditation, offering practical strategies to improve brain function and overall well-being.
In addition to her private practice, Beth teaches graduate-level courses on Mind, Brain, and Teaching at institutions like Johns Hopkins University and Notre Dame University of Maryland. Her dual role as educator and practitioner allows her to bridge theory and application in the field of education.
Together with her partner, Chris, Beth co-founded Brain Balance centers in the Greater Baltimore area, combining their expertise in education and business to support individuals facing cognitive challenges. Their goal is to create transformative experiences that promote brain health and wellness.
Beth’s approach to education, rooted in both academic rigor and practical tools, empowers individuals to thrive in school, life, and relationships. Her passion for mindfulness practices and her own transformative experiences with yoga inspire her work and help foster peace and calm in the lives of those she serves.
Beth’s Fun Fact: Which to choose from!? I have lots…I adore vinegar and can find ways to add it to almost anything. And…I drink it straight sometimes! I also prefer to be upside down and headstands are my favorite. Lastly, I am a thalassophile: one who loves the ocean.

Admissions Team
Sarah Franery
Assessor
Sarah holds a degree in Health Education from Towson University and a master’s degree in School Counseling from Loyola University Maryland. She began her career in Montgomery County, teaching the required quarter-long health course to middle school students across the school.
Her coaching career began at age 18, starting at NDP before moving to McDonogh, where she coached field hockey, basketball, and lacrosse. After graduating from Towson University, she returned to Montgomery County and co-founded PlayHer Sports, a company that offers field hockey and lacrosse clinics, leagues, and tournaments. PlayHer Sports continues to run programs today.
After deciding to pursue her master’s degree, she moved to Baltimore, where she worked as a college counselor for several years. Following the birth of her son, she returned to the community where she grew up and joined Indian Creek Upper School as the school counselor, Human Development teacher, and AP Psychology teacher. After six years at Indian Creek, she decided to take a break from education to focus on PlayHer Sports and spend more time at home with her son.
When Beth introduced her to Brain Balance, she immediately felt excited about the possibilities. Having worked with students in so many different capacities, she recognized the potential for this approach to benefit anyone. With her background in health education and counseling, it felt like a natural fit and an exciting opportunity to bring her experience and passion for helping others to something new.
Sarah’s Fun Fact: I love to sing! I've sung in 20+ weddings, including my own. Also, Beth and I have been friends for 14 years!
Sarah's advice to Brain Balance clients? “It takes a village to raise a child and you are lucky to have Brain Balance as part of that village!”
Program Management Team
Jessica Stansbury
Program Manager
Originally from New Market, Maryland, Jessica is currently a Dean’s List student at Stevenson University, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with an anticipated graduation date of fall 2027. She graduated from high school with honors and has always enjoyed working with children, gaining experience through daycare work and serving as a summer camp basketball coach for elementary and middle school students.
When she first met members of the Brain Balance team and learned more about the program’s goals, she immediately connected with its mission. The opportunity to help children of all ages strengthen the connection between their brains and bodies through activities designed to support neural pathways aligned perfectly with the reasons she chose to study psychology. She found the approach fascinating and was excited by the opportunity to learn more about a subject that has long interested her.
She is passionate about creating positive memories and meaningful connections with the people around her, whether they are friends, family members, coworkers, or people she has just met. She believes in the importance of making others feel valued and enjoys building relationships with people from all walks of life.
In her free time, she enjoys maintaining a healthy balance between staying active and relaxing. She loves going to the gym, playing sports with friends, and exploring the outdoors on hikes. She also cherishes quiet time at home with her dog and family, especially when everyone gathers to watch a new show together. Whether she is staying active or enjoying time with loved ones, she values making the most of every moment and creating positive experiences with those around her.
Jessica's Fun Fact: I played basketball from 1st to 12th grade!
Jessica's advice to Brain Balance clients? "Come in with trust and an open mindset.
Having trust in all the coaches is so important we are all here to help you and want to see you succeed.
Which is just as important as coming in with an open mind and having some faith in yourself and that you can do it."
