Madison was diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder so we did occupational therapy for almost two years and felt like it wasn't really getting us anywhere.

She’s just always been a child that doesn’t always react to situations in an appropriate way. For example, we’d go to birthday parties and kids would be having tons of fun and for her, it was so overwhelming and so stressful we stopped going to birthday parties. She was a highly emotional child. What probably got us to the point where realized we really needed something else was she was in first grade and her schoolwork was getting a lot harder which brought on a lot more levels of frustration. We were trying to support her at home. They were trying to support her at school and it felt like we were moving backward.

Madison was diagnosed with Sensory Processing Disorder so we did occupational therapy for almost two years and felt like it wasn’t really getting us anywhere. We came to a crossroads, my husband and I just trying to figure out how to help her and the best way. My mother was listening to the radio and heard an advertisement for Brain Balance. That’s what led us there. We found out that she needed to strengthen her right side of her brain. Really there haven’t been bumps in the road like I expected. That’s been huge. She’s just delightful to be around. Now, she really likes to sit down and have conversations with us. That’s been wonderful. She’s just enjoyable to around. She is experiencing life now that she wasn’t able to do because so many things roadblocked her. I would absolutely recommend it and have.
