We Help Kids Who Struggle With Dyslexia

Brain Balance Achievement Center of North Olmsted Has a Plan for Children with Dyslexia

The Brain Balance Program

The Brain Balance Achievement Center of North Olmsted is dedicated to helping children in the Triangle area meet their social, behavioral, and academic goals. When children are enrolled in The Brain Balance Program, they are first given a personalized assessment. This assessment helps us to identify each child’s unique challenges and develop a personalized plan that will help the child overcome those struggles.

Included in each child’s individualized plan are academic activities, sensory motor training, and dietary guidelines. We believe that these activities are valuable in developing an integrated, whole-child approach to dyslexia and other learning disabilities.

Brain Balance Has A Plan For Your Child

Dyslexia is a learning disorder that causes children to have difficulty reading. It is characterized by difficulty recognizing letters, learning letter sounds, and identifying rhyming words. Dyslexia can show itself in different ways and can cause children to struggle with reading, which can cause issues at school. Dyslexia in children is often discovered when a child reaches kindergarten. Early signs of dyslexia in kids include learning to talk at a later age than most children, poor fine motor skills, and trouble learning the ABC’s, numbers, and days of the week.

While dyslexia is a lifelong learning disability, our program for children with dyslexia can help to enhance reading, spelling, and writing skills. The Brain Balance Achievement Center of Brain Balance of the Triangle has developed a dyslexia program that can help your child overcome their academic challenges and function better in a classroom environment. When your child is enrolled in The Brain Balance Program, we create an individualized plan for your child that will address their strengths and weaknesses. A child’s plan can include up to 3 in-center visits per week along with activities for your child to complete at-home that will help to activate the brain. The Brain Balance Program has helped thousands of children in Brain Balance of the Triangle and across the country achieve their goals. Rita L., a Brain Balance parent whose daughter came to Brain Balance because of her struggles with dyslexia, saw improve in her child’s schoolwork after enrollment in our program.
