We Help Kids Who Struggle With Dyslexia
Help with Dyslexia in Summerlin
A Drug-Free, Integrated Approach To Dyslexia
The Brain Balance Achievement Center of Summerlin is dedicated to helping children struggling with learning, behavioral, or social interactions reach their goals both inside and outside of the classroom. The first step of your child’s journey with Brain Balance is taking their personalized assessment. This assessment helps us to identify each child’s unique challenges and develop a personalized plan that will help the child overcome those struggles.Your child’s in-center sessions are individualized based on his or her assessment results. These sessions will activate the weaker areas of your child’s brain in order to increase function.
Our integrated, whole-child approach combines in-center sessions, activities, and nutrition in order to achieve the best results for your child. Included in each child’s customized program regimen are academic activities, sensory motor training, home exercises, and a healthy eating plan.

Child Dyslexia and The Brain Balance Program
As a learning disorder that causes children to have difficulty reading, Dyslexia can show itself in different ways and can involve a number of reading challenges. Characterized by difficulty recognizing letters, learning letter sounds, and identifying rhyming words, dyslexia in children is often identified when a child reaches kindergarten. Poor fine motor skills, trouble learning the alphabet, numbers, days of the week and learning to talk later than most children are early signs of dyslexia in kids.
The Brain Balance Achievement Center of Summerlin has developed a dyslexia program that can help your child overcome their learning obstacles. Even though dyslexia is a lifelong learning disability, approaches to help overcome challenges for dyslexia can improve reading, spelling and writing skills and can allow children to function better in an academic setting. When your child is enrolled in The Brain Balance Program, we create a personalized plan for your child that is geared toward dyslexia which includes 3 in-center visits per week in addition to at-home activities. These activities will help your child reach their learning, social, and behavioral goals. Brain Balance’s dyslexia specific program has helped thousands of children across the country with several of those kids being from the Summerlin area.
