We Help Kids Who Struggle in Minnetonka
As a parent, it can be heart-wrenching to watch your child struggle with academic, social, or behavioral issues. At the Brain Balance Achievement Center of Minnetonka, we have helped hundreds of children overcome the challenges of childhood learning and development issues such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities such as dyslexia, processing disorders such as Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) and Sensory Integration Disorder (SID), behavioral issues such as Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Asperger Syndrome, Leaky Gut, and more. The Brain Balance program in Minnetonka, Minnesota (and at locations across the country) takes a non-medical, drug-free approach to overcoming your child’s daily challenges.
The Brain Balance Program begins by conducting a personal assessment for your child to get to the root of the issue. This allows us to develop a specific plan tailored to your child’s areas of struggle. Once the Brain Balance Achievement Center of Minnetonka has mapped out your child’s personal plan, we conduct in-center training sessions that cover social, behavioral, and academic skills.
Support Every Step Of The Way
Each Brain Balance program is personalized to the challenges of the child, and for this reason, the time frame varies. The number of sessions is determined by the results of your child’s assessment. Generally, programs are completed in 36 to 72 sessions, with some children needing more sessions to achieve their goals. Programs consist of in-center sensory motor training and academic skill sessions that are an hour long, three times per week. The Brain Balance Achievement Center of Minnetonka also provides in-home activities, including a nutritional program that establishes a healthy environment for the entire family.
If your child has difficulty paying attention, understanding other people’s feelings or talking about their own, has a learning disorder such as dyslexia, or loses their temper often, the Brain Balance Achievement Center of Minnetonka can help you and your child manage or overcome the symptoms. We invite you to come visit our center located in the Westwind Plaza at the corner of County Rd 101 and HWY 7.
