Dr. Ray Booth, PhD

Dr. Ray Booth, PhD

Center Owner

Ray earned his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Brigham Young University. He brings to BBE his 35+ years’ experience working with individuals and families. Before starting his private practice, he managed the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. Ray has been impressed with the worry and concern of parents who have children with learning and developmental problems. He has also seen that many of the emotional issues of adults stem from their own neurobehavioral issues that were not corrected during childhood.

Dawna Booth

Dawna Booth

Owner & Executive Director

Dawna holds degrees in child development and interior design, also from Brigham Young University. She is an avid skier, an accomplished musician (piano), and a skilled artisan (almost any craft). She has held numerous leadership positions in her business and in the community. Her experience in sales and marketing while running her own successful retail business is an important asset to BBE. However, she counts her 35 years as a homemaker, mother and grandmother as her most valuable contribution.

Their journey: Ray and Dawna were seeking assistance for their own family members when they discovered the groundbreaking Brain Balance Program established by Dr. Robert Melillo. When they discovered there was no Brain Balance Center in Idaho, they were determined to bring one to the Boise area. While visiting other centers, they were impressed with the improvements being attained on a consistent basis. After extensive training with Dr. Melillo and his staff in New York, Ray and Dawna opened their first franchise in Eagle, Idaho in August of 2013, followed by two more in Portland, Oregon.

Bridget F.

Bridget F.

Center Director

Bridget Frank comes to us with experience as a director of operations and marketing of an international franchise. Her passion for education led her into working directly with the Idaho school districts for Junior Achievement of Idaho, Boy Scouts of America, and other organizations. Bridget is currently on the PTO Board for Cynthia Mann Elementary. She loves being involved in the education system, reading and Idaho history and outdoors, as a 5th-generation Idahoan.

Testimonial: Bridget and her husband have three children; a son serving in the US Navy, another son recently graduated cooking school that has struggled with anxiety, and 11 yr old daughter who successfully attended Brain Balance for her academic struggles. As a concerned Mom, she knew this program was the only way to help her little girl (after witnessing much frustration with her son) and after just 3 months she got OFF her IEP! Her daughter also successfully transitioned to big girl panties after issues (fear) of incontinence due to a prior medical condition. A HUGE relief for the entire family and boost of confidence for her daughter.

Sarah has spent many years working with children and their families of all abilities, all ages, and all populations.  Sarah has a Child Health Consultant Certificate, and has volunteered many hours working in educating young at risk moms on how to care for their child. In her free time, she loves to be outside with her kids; gardening, yoga, nutrition, and running are all things she incorporates with her family.

Testimonial: Sarah has 2 young boys ages 3 and 5. Her oldest has had his own struggles with Sensory Processing Disorder and recently finished up with Occupational Therapy. Her youngest was involved in Speech due to chronic fluid in his ears. He said “Momma” at 26 months old! Imagine the tears that came with that! As a parent who has struggled with finding the answers and the right path for her children; Brain Balance came at just the right time.
