Dr. Victoria Naumann
Dr. Victoria Naumann grew up in Auburn, a small town in upstate New York. She has a B.S. in Biology and received her DC (doctor of chiropractic) degree in 1986 from National College of Chiropractic, outside of Chicago. She has been in the health care field practicing as a doctor of chiropractic for 22 years. Her most recent practice was in Easley, SC where she practiced from 2002 until 2008. Dr. Naumann has been taking post graduate neurology classes since 2005. She recieved her Diplomate in Functional Neurology in 2012. During the post graduate modules “Childhood Developmental Disorders”, taught by professor, researcher and author Dr. Robert Melillo, the path of her life changed. Through his classes and seeing what can be done to help children struggling with neurobehavioral disorders Dr. Naumann found her next calling in life. She found a doctor to take over her practice and opened the Brain Balance Achievement Center of Greenville. In 2011 she and her sister teamed up to open Brain Balance of Charlotte. Family, being outdoors, horseback riding with friends, and studying neurology are her favorite pastimes.
Sylvia Moneti, in partnership with her sister Dr. Victoria Naumann, opened the Brain Balance Achievement Center of Charlotte, NC in November of 2010. Her mission is to make Brain Balance available to the thousands of children in the area struggling with neurologically based academic, social and behavioral issues. She completed her training at the Brain Balance Training Center in Ronkonkoma, NY. and worked at her sister’s Center in Greenville, SC which opened in October of 2009. Sylvia’s previous career was that of a financial educator, giving financial planning seminars for corporate employees across the country and internationally. Although helping people make better financial decisions was very rewarding, the desire to help on a deeper level led her to Brain Balance. Sylvia is a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law and Northeastern University. She has lived in the Atlanta area for the last 25 years with her husband Filippo. They served as foster parents for two boys for the Dept. of Family and Children’s Services and Sylvia’s other volunteer activities have included the buddy program for AidAtlanta, as well as teaching English to refugees for the International Rescue Committee. She and her husband look forward to becoming an integral part of the Charlotte Community.
