Brain Balance Has A Plan For Kids Who Struggle
As a parent, it can be heart-wrenching to watch your child struggle with academic, social, or behavioral issues. Brain Balance Achievement Centers has helped thousands of children overcome the challenges of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Asperger’s Syndrome and other Autism Spectrum Disorders, learning disabilities such as Dyslexia, Auditory and Visual Processing Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, behavioral issues such as Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) and a host of other related childhood learning and developmental issues. The Brain Balance program at Chapel Hill (and at locations across the country), is a non-medical and drug-free approach to overcome the challenges that your child faces on a daily basis.

A Non-Medical, Drug-Free, Whole Child Approach
We know that not every child that struggles with a learning or development issue is the same. That’s why the program at the Brain Balance Achievement Center of Chapel Hill begins with an in-depth assessment of your child. This allows us to develop a personalized program to meet your child’s specific needs. The in-center portion of the program consists of sensory-motor and academic skills training for one hour, three times a week targeting the root of the struggles. The initial assessment will determine the number of session your child will need to complete the program. Due to the uniqueness of our plans, some children may need more or less time in order to achieve their individual goals. The Brain Balance Program also includes in-home activities and exercises to support what is happening in the center. Additionally, we provide parent conferences every 12 weeks to track and monitor the child’s progress.
If your child is struggling with any type of learning, behavioral or social struggles it’s important to get the help they need. If your child has difficulty focusing in class, understanding body language, has a learning disorder such as dyslexia, or is having sensory meltdowns, the team at the Brain Balance Achievement Center of Chapel Hill can create a program to create a lasting change.
