Brain Balance of Peachtree City reports a Parent Testimonial: Kaylin’s story is an unbelievable one from where she came from. She had a stroke when she was born and then later diagnosed with PDD/NOS, an autism spectrum disorder. She not only struggled with anger outbursts, social problems, numerous screaming fits and failing school, but also suffered from severe memory loss as well from the stroke. It was indescribable stress on everyone for years. After starting the program, we noticed changes right away with Kaylin, but I think the biggest change came when she remembered her birthday for the first time ever.

Dr. Mark Goldenberg of the Brain Balance Center of Norwalk was recently featured in Norwalk Citizen discussing Dr. Melillo’s Brain Balance Program for ADHD & Autism. According to Goldenberg, the common thread that links these disorders is a miscommunication between the left and right sides of the brain. In an interview with the Citizen, he used the analogy of a symphony to better illustrate the point. “In a perfectly tuned orchestra everyone is playing synchronized, playing at the same time,” he said. “In people with these disorders, it’s the same as having the percussion playing a fast tempo and maybe the strings playing at a slower tempo, in a different key….Areas of the brain are just not processing at the same rate.”
