I am interested in learning more about your specific approach for families who have children on the autism spectrum as well as those families who have children with a medical diagnosis of ADHD. Are your methods based on behavioral, developmental, nutritional, or bio medical domains?
What ages do you specialize in working with?
Lisa, Thank you for your interest in Brain Balance! Our approach utilizes many methods that comprise a unique comprehensive and non-medical approach to all neurobehavioral disorders in childhood (and even combinations of disorders). We integrate physical and cognitive exercises with dietary change. Our primary focus is school aged children. To hear directly from a representative in your local area, please use our center locator section and call or submit a contact form directly to the center. We’d love to help!
I’m wondering if you’ll be hiring at the Excelsior site in the next three months or so? I just learned of the Center and am planning to substitute teach for the 2011-12 school year, having just finished my coursework for a teaching license — I’m waiting for the license to be processed by the State. I am a mother of three children who recently returned to the workplace after being home for nearly 20 years — some of them spent homeschooling. I have worked since June at the Sylvan Learning Center in Chaska, but find the right / left brain / cognitive approach to learning difficulties compelling and would like to learn more. My friend, Tanya Logslett, began working at the Excelsior location in August and gave me some information about the Center. Please let me know if submitting a resume’ / application at this time is a good idea
Thank you! Karna Haugen

Are there any plans for parents who have completed the program or are in the middle of it to form a support group blog on this site? We had excellent results but from time to time our reconnected healing process produces questions that would be helpful to see if other parents see similar things and what they do about it in general.
We would love to add that feature! Keep checking our blog for new updates and features on our website!
