Why is everyone now focusing on brain injured persons UNDER a certain age. Many practicioners, including Dr. Melillo discuss the "plasticity of the brain" but no one seems to focus on autistic adults... age 18 and over; I would like to try. Do you have any advice or comments that would save precious time in this endevor. Many parents, including my wife and I are now asking... what next after high school? It's not too late to make a change is it (of course not but that's a common question)? Does your expertise and/or contractual agreement allow you to share your insight into this preference for the "young" brain injured children because regardless of age... my daughter will always be my child.
